A stinky dog can be an
embarrassing problem, but there are solutions to help neutralize your
dog’s stink.
Don’t you with there was deodorant for dogs?
Well, there is. Chlorophyll is a naturally occurring substance that has
been used in deodorants for people with allergies for years.
Chlorophyll works sort of like an all natural baking soda- absorbing
and neutralizing odors. We started supplementing our dogs with liquid
chlorophyll for the health benefits, and after a week or two began to
notice an absence of stinky breath, now we
recommend it all the time for people who complain about a stinky dog or
a yard that smells like poop.
By putting a tablespoon or two of liquid
chlorophyll in your dogs water every day you send the chlorophyll
through their whole system- in their mouth and out the other end. It
has a slight minty flavor and most dogs love the taste in their water.
Unlike “greenies” using liquid chlorophyll leaves the breath fresh all
the time instead of just after eating the treat. As the chlorophyll
moves through the dog’s boy it aids digestion, cleanses the blood, and
helps neutralize odors that emanate from within your dog. After it
passes through the dog’s system, it significantly reduces the odor of
dog poop and urine.
Liquid Chlorophyll is much more cost
effective that greenies and works 24/7 instead of for just a few hours
after a treat. In our home, with one large dog and frequently refreshed
water bowls, a 32oz bottle lasts about 6-8 weeks.
You may be able to find Liquid Chlorophyll
at a local health food store, but generally prices online are much
lower- low enough to cover shipping. I use and endorse the brand
"Nature's Sunshine".
