Show N Goes are practice dog show to help teams
of handlers and their owners prepare for real
competition. No “points” are awarded
at a show n go. “Show N Goes” are
just that, after you’ve done your time
in the ring, you can leave. Since there are
no prizes or trophies awarded there is no reason
to stick around (although at some Show N Go’s
you can take a second turn if there is time
at the end). Show N Gos are held all over the
country in the spring and are a great way to
get your dog used to the show environment and
get an expert’s opinion on whether your
training is up to par and whether dog show entry
fees will be well spent money.
