Our simplest, easiest, and cheapest recipe for liver
dog treats is below. Because this recipe uses the dogs
own food as a main ingredient, this treat / biscuit
recipe is safe for dogs with allergies, dogs on special
diets, or dogs who can't tolerate corn, wheat, or gluten.
1 tub chicken livers or 1 package of beef liver
& juices
1.5 cups of dry dog food
1 egg
Garlic, cheese, or yogurt as desired. (nothing your
dog may be allergic to)
Add dog food to blender or food processor and run until
pulverized and resembling corn meal. Add egg, blend,
add livers & juice, blend. Your mixture should have
the consistency of brownie batter and will probably
be lumpy.
Dump mixture into foil lined brownie pan and bake at
350 degrees for 35-45 minutes, longer if a crunchier
treat is desired. Remove from oven, cut immediately,
but allow to cool before serving.
