Dogs and horses can get alone well, depending on your
dog's personality and breed. Before introducing your
dog to a horse you should introduce the dog and horse
on leash, or separated by a fence. This helps your dog
acclimate to the smell and the horse investigate the
new creature without spooking. If both animals are calm,
you may be able to let your dog off leash around the
