clubs pet therapy program. Angels on a leash helps children in
hospitals. The angels on a leash program is called angels on a leash
because dogs, on a leash, are taken into hospitals by handlers on the
other end of the leash and visit patients. The dogs make the patients
feel a little more normal- and many doctors and handlers describe it as
being like a visit from an angel.
